Introducing our 2014 Team!!

Well hello everyone!

After a very hectic (nothing new!) week last week, I have found the time tonight to take a minute to announce our new team for 2014!

Firstly THANK YOU very very much to all that applied. I cannot begin to tell you the difficulty in choosing this team. I do not feel like I am an expert, so I hate being the one that makes these decisions. So I do not take it lightly. And just like I understand that it is JUST a challenge blog, I do also know what it is like.. I have been there many times in the past and it always stings. I know I said I would not email everyone individually but I did! Over 100 applications.. but in my crazy busy life I felt it was important. That's just what I am like. 

So anyway, you don't need to hear my whole life story LOL! I know you are just here to see who made it. So here we go.. some of my most favourite scrapbookers around are on this list,  that I hope will give you lots of inspiration throughout 2014...

November Challenge!!!!

Hi everyone ! just popping in very quickly today to post November's challenge. I  am typing with 1 hand as I hold the baby with the other LOL You get the picture!!

Journalling Theme: "My Happy Place"

You are free to interpret our theme ANY WAY you like. It is for your inspiration and this theme word DOES NOT need to be part of your title or journalling. But please make sure your layout is based on the sketch below and includes journalling (hidden journalling is fine). Acceptable journalling is MORE than just a sentence, or generic writing such as date/place etc. It needs to be present and at least 3 lines long. Remember, hidden journalling (under a photo/tag or behind your page) is perfectly fine but please DO let us know in your post where your journalling is!

Tetiana Komarova (aka Taniko) 

Hello. My name is Tetiana Komarova, however in the scrap world I use my nickname Taniko. I’m 25 years old and I live in Kiev, Ukraine. Currently there are three important matters in my life: my family – all my time is devoted to upbringing of my son Timofey... well, and my husband sometimes:), postgraduate studies – for already two years all my mental efforts has been thrown to the writing of dissertation, and scrap – in 2010 I plunged into this exciting world and still depend on it.

I like to make projects in different styles but my favorite are american (for cadrs) and mixed-media (for LOs, albums, alter). I adore mixed-media techniques because they give me the freedom to express myself and appear to be the best tool for the realization of creative potential. I like to make lots of layers, play with texture paste and paint, use bright colors and fabrics in my LOs.
