HAPPY NEW YEAR with our January challenge!!

(please note the winners of our December challenge will be posted soon)

Helloooooooo!! Happy new year! It is already the 1st here in Sydney :) One of the best things about living in this country is that we get to celebrate everything FIRST (almost ) .

How exciting to be starting one more year. I hope you all have a good one and find some creative time.

Now, let me present you with our new challenge and tell you 2 changes that will occur in 2014.

First, we are extending the due date of the entries. Yes, instead of the 25 we are giving you some extra days to enter our challenges. The challenges will now end on the LAST DAY OF EACH MONTH.

Secondly, we will also have a second reveal on the 15th of each month. Our HUGE team has been split into 2 smaller teams and we will show you even more inspiration on the 15th!

So let me take a moment to THANK YOU all for your continued support of our blog here. I truly and honestly LOVE running this, even on the VERY BAD and BUSY days when I wish I stayed in bed LOL! I do it because of all of YOU, because of all the AMAZING artists that support me and my little dream here. I do it because of INCREDIBLE sponsors that donate a lot of prizes because they believe in OUAS and I do it because I have a lot of help now from Tracey, Val and Lizzy LOL :)))

This month our BRAND NEW TEAM also makes their first appearance  :))

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Journalling Theme: "Lesson learnt..."

You are free to interpret our theme ANY WAY you like. It is for your inspiration and this theme word DOES NOT need to be part of your title or journalling. But please make sure your layout is based on the sketch below and includes journalling (hidden journalling is fine). Acceptable journalling is MORE than just a sentence, or generic writing such as date/place etc. It needs to be present and at least 3 lines long. Remember, hidden journalling (under a photo/tag or behind your page) is perfectly fine but please DO let us know in your post where your journalling is!

Please help me welcome our winner from November, the lovely...

  8. This is a beautiful sketch and the DT layouts are incredible. All three of us at Scrapstorian completed this one, it's great to see such different layouts from one sketch. Thanks for the inspiration! :)

  9. In these days of austerity in addition to relative stress about getting debt, some people balk up against the idea of having a credit card to make acquisition of merchandise or maybe pay for any gift giving occasion, preferring, instead just to rely on this tried in addition to trusted means of making transaction - raw cash. However, if you possess cash on hand to make the purchase 100 %, then, paradoxically, that's the best time just to be able to use the credit card for several motives.
