Well hello there everyone!
Somehow, we have reached August.. WHAT? Ummm... December is only 4 months away and I literally feel like I just took down the Christmas tree yesterday LOL! Well not much we can do about it I say but do what we love, and I hope one of those things for you is to play along with our challenges.
I really would like to take a moment to THANK YOU all for continuing to support us here. Some of you might know that just 2 months ago I had a little baby, my 3rd girl :) Life is VERY hectic and chaotic and I find myself tired most of time LOL! From past experience, I know this will pass but its still SO hard some days and honestly.. blogging and crafting is the FURTHEST thing on my mind. At one point a few weeks ago I thought of taking a break from OUAS but when I check out the amazing amount of entries each month I am blown away. What am I thinking giving this up? This IS my 4th baby LOL!
So THANK you so very much for popping in here and keeping all this going. And I also want to take a moment to also thank the amazing people I have designing for me. They just stuck it out, didn't complain , went about their job and also were instrumental in keeping OUAS alive. Last but not least, the amazing sponsors , who donate their prizes and contribute towards the success of this blog ... well what can I say? When I asked them a couple of months ago to change things around so that the winners contact them directly and to easy the pressure of me , they responded right away and all this, together with my need to have everything organised MONTHS ahead brings me to today, where I am a SO happy to reveal yet another challenge.
So thank you all, and I feel energised and content to keep going with OUAS and to provide you with as many challenges as I can from here on :)
Ok here we go with August's challenge! I will say I am particularly impressed with the approach the Design Team took with this challenge. It is a bit of a hard topic... it can so easily be adapted to happy things but also ... not so happy moments we would rather forget but never will.
I am especially interested in visiting blogs this month and reading your stories.. so if you have a sad or happy story to share, I am READY to read it!
Journalling Theme: "I'll never forget"
Your layout must incorporate this theme and the sketch below.
Please make sure that we see some sort of journalling on your layouts and please tell us where your journalling is . You are allowed to journal in any language but please tell us where on your page we will find your journalling. Remember journalling has to be a bit more than a title, or a generic comment. Hidden journalling is perfectly fine.
Please welcome the winner of our June Challenge
Zaneta Glowa aka Zanka (Sweden)
My name is Zaneta Glowa a.k.a Zanka. I’m originally from Poland but I have been living in Sweden for quite few years now. Came here for job reason and stayed for love ;) I have a little family, my little daughter, two stepchildren and my hubby. As you might’ve noticed, my works mainly feature the photos of our kids.My adventure with scrapbooking started in 2010, with some Christmas cards and an idea to make an album with the photos from our daughter’s baptising. Before I knew it, I was totally hooked and I now could almost start a little store with the amount of scrapbooking supplies I have! I currently design for Papercraft Scandinavia, Let's Get Shabby challenge blog and Color Stories Inspiration.
