Hey everyone! August 15th today ! A huge day in the Christian calendar and my daughter Maria's (and my mum's, 2 nieces and sister -in-law's) name day. So to all the wonderful Marias or other people celebrating today , I wish you a happy day!!
So today I want to share with you what the second half of our team has done with our August challenge. Thank you to everyone that has played along with us so far! So many lovely entries...keep them coming :)
Can I please take a moment to kindly ask that you PLEASE turn off word verification on your blogs? Our Design Team finds this really really frustrating when coming to visit your blogs as it is SO time consuming. I am pretty sure that most of you do not know you even have it on, but if you please go to blogger and go to your settings then "posts and comments" and make sure where it says "show word verification" is says NO. I would really love it if you could support us in this.
OK lets move on to the next lot of inspiration..
Theme: Season (Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring)
We would like you to create a layout and interpret the theme "Season" however you like based on the following sketch. You can journal as little or as much as you like, but your layout must incorporate this theme and the sketch below. Please make sure that we see some sort of journalling on your layouts and please tell us where your journalling is . Hidden journalling is perfectly fine.
Ideas for journalling: current season in your part of the world, favourite season, seasonal traditions on your part of the word, a childhood memory, a summer romance, what summer/autumn/winter/spring brings for you, baby it's cold outside, summer loving, spring is in the air, autumn breeze, summer holidays, seasonal changes, etc etc. Anything goes ..
With the new Design Team introductions in July we did not have any Guest Designers and this lovely lady, who was our winner back in May has been waiting all this time to be our Guest here. Thank you Jennifer for waiting so patiently!!
Jennifer Snyder
I have been scrapping for years but really focusing on technique and style within the last few years. I am married with children and live in Rochester NY. I also enjoy photography and the art of photo shopping. I have found a way to join my three favorite hobbies into one great love of creating scrap art and altered art.
I also scrap as a cat character, Escape Kitty. She is my house cat in real life, and would rather be an outdoor cat. I simply make her cat wishes come true in photoshop and on the scrapbook page. Kitty is a tad sassier than me, but it’s a great escape for me to try and think/scrap like Escape Kitty. The Escape Kitty Adventures enable me to weave a wild story into my scrap page…and I do love a good story.
THANK YOU so much Jennifer for your wonderful layout. Its so so pretty and that picture is just heart melting!
