The Rules & How It All Works

**This is an Australian based INTERNATIONAL blog, which means that anyone can enter from anywhere in the world.

**You may create ONLY traditional layouts for our challenges.

*Post your creation on your blog or an online gallery and link it on the right hand side of this blog using the Link tool. Please provide a direct link to your post, not your entire blog.If the link tool is down, please leave a comment on the comments section and link your layout there.

** A new sketch with journalling criteria will be released on the 1st of each month and entries will be due by midnight of the last day of each month (AEST Sydney Time)

**The Design Team will vote for their favourite layouts and our Top 10 winners , as well as our randomly picked winners will be announced soon after the challenge ends.

**You may combine our challenges with as many other challenges as you like!  We don't mind at all if you use our sketch/journalling criteria as inspiration for a challenge other than Once Upon A...Sketch.

**To be considered for a prize winning spot on our Top 10 or the random prize, you need to stay as close to the journalling criteria as possible. The reason we cannot be lenient on this, is because we set specific requirements to challenge and inspire you from just interpreting the sketch that will be given to you. We need to make it fair on everyone, so we would really hate for you to create an amazing project, but not be a winner because the journalling requirements were not met.

**You can journal in ANY language you like, not just English! We realise that English is not everyone's first language, and this is supposed to be about YOU and journalling your thoughts in a way you feel comfortable with...So please do not force your self to journal in English if you don't find it easy to do so.

**In regards to the sketch, you can interpret it ANY way you like.We know that most people hardly stick to a sketch , but find it a good starting point regarding photos, design etc.

**You may enter as many times as you wish.
