Design Team

Nadia Cannizzo (Australia) - Founder

My name is Nadia Cannizzo, and I live in Sydney Australia, although I was born and spent my childhood in Greece.  I am proud to be, first and foremost , mum to 3 much loved and much wanted girls and I have been married to my husband for the last 14 years. In my professional life, I chose to work with children again and have been a Primary School teacher for the last 12 years.  I have been scrapping/paper crafting officially for just under 3 years now and I have to say I am well and truly addicted and spend a small fortune on lots of supplies each and every month. Let's just say hubby has given up trying to fight my scrapping obsession. :)
I have maintained my creative blog HERE  since late 2010 and that is the place I share all my creations and quite often some aspects of my personal life. I can't help it..I have the best followers from all over the world who listen and reply to my ramblings :) They continue to help me through some tough times, and they now feel like part of my extended family!
In March of 2011 I  started this challenge blog My challenges are based on my  sketches that I create along with my journalling prompts. This was born out of my love and passion for journalling on my layouts. I believe that too few people are journalling on their pages these days, and through my challenge blog I am hoping to encourage people to do that more often. Journalling, and leaving a legacy behind is why I started scrapping in the first place and I never wish to lose this. Although I love to create pretty looking pages, I thrive on writing messages to my daughters on my layouts or more often these days, at the back of them. In the past 3 years, I have had the chance to work along side some very talented women through various spots on Design Teams, ranging from challenge blogs to kit clubs etc. I have learnt so much from so many people, and I never feel as though I have learnt it all! I love to be inspired by talented people. I get a kick out of learning something new and I often blog hop right into the wee hours of the morning.

Maja Stokk

Hi! My name is Maja Stokk and I´m from the north of Sweden. I´m married and I have 5 children, three boys and two girls. I´m a full-time working teacher with a passion for mathematics. When I´m not at work, I love to cook, be with my family and work in my garden. When I need some "me time" and time to relax from my sometimes stressful life - I scrapbook! I have been into scrapbooking since 2008. I have always loved taking photos and now I can do something special with all my photos.I have no particular style (I think);  it varies depending on what kind of photos I`m working with and what mood I´m in. What I certainly can say about my style is that I love flowers. My style is mostly romantic with a touch of shabby or a little grunge. Lately I've also been hooked on Mixed Media and use heaps of it on my layouts.I'm so happy to be a part of of this amazing team =)

Hello. My name is Tetiana Komarova, however in the scrap world I use my nickname Taniko. I’m 25 years old and I live in Kiev, Ukraine. Currently there are three important things in my life: my family – all my time is devoted to upbringing of my son Timofey... well, and my husband sometimes:), my Post Graduate studies – for the past two years all my brain power has been thrown into writing my dissertation, and scrap – in 2010 I plunged into this exciting world and I need it!

I like to make projects in different styles, but my favorite are American (for cards) and Mixed Media (for LOs, albums, altered projects). I adore Mixed Media techniques because they give me the freedom to express myself...I really feel they help me to realise my creative potential. I like to create lots of layers, play with texture paste and paint & use lots of bright colors and fabrics in my LOs.

I hope you will enjoy my projects!!!

My blog is here: http://taniko.blogspot.com/

Hi there! I'm Jelissa from Singapore. I'm a forensic scientist and I'm happily married with two rowdy boys. Photography, music and scuba-diving are my main loves, but I turned to scrapbooking after my eldest was born in 2010 when I couldn't travel as much. For me, dabbling in music/art is a breathing space from a very disciplined work environment and has helped me find balance and beauty in the world. I don't stick strictly to a particular style, but like to see where the emotions in a photo take me. The must-haves in my LOs are mediums, textures, layers and flowers and I have a soft spot for colors in all sorts of combinations.
It is really a dream come true to be on such a talented team, to be surrounded by artists that have inspired me so much throughout my scrapping journey. I'm still learning, and I hope you like what I have to share!

Wiosanka

Hallo!
My name is Anna Wisniewska, but in the scrap world I use my nickname - Wiosanka.
I live in north Poland, near the Baltic Sea. I'm the wife of a gorgeous man and mother of two wonderful boys - Paweł (7) and Tomek (5). We spend much time together and we're a rather sporty family. We ski in winter; swim and go on bike rides in the summer. What I love most about scrapbooking is making layouts and occasionally albums. I just love to work with pictures. My scrapbooking style is rather simple, but I can't live without colorful papers, washi tapes, small buttons, badges, mists and paint splashes. There is black ink and twine in almost all of my projects. I recently discovered chipboard & like it very much! I often add this element to my layouts and albums.I am very happy and honoured to be a part of such a wonderful team. I hope you will like my projects :-)

Lizzy Hill

Hi Folks!
I'm a happy scrappy girl from Australia - just above Sydney. I've got 2 grown up boys - one who is married & has a wee baby boy -  so that keeps my photo box satisfyingly full! Add in Wally the Dog & the DH [dear husband] & that's our household.I switch around with styles as the mood or muse takes me. I've been scrapping a few years & have been blessed to be on some lovely teams & get published a bit too. I'm absolutely thrilled to be on the team with such an AWESOME lineup! It feels VERY special:)I really, really enjoying getting around to blogs & saying 'hi' & I adore a challenge...often I'll do stupid stuff just for myself - like scrapping purple [blerrrk!!] or flowers [hard work pour moi!] or doing a NON Christmas card using only Christmas papers....just for the fun of it. And that's pretty much my scrappy ethos. Have fun! So, I hope you'll come along on a fun ride with me at OUA...S this year:)

Hi, my name is Ola Khomenok, however in the scrap world I use the nickname Olushka. I'm 37 years of age, married with 2 adorable children – a boy 4 & 1/2 and a girl 18 months old.
I was born in Ukraine, but when I was 14 my family moved to Israel - I’ve been living here ever since.I am a qualified graphic designer. While on maternity leave with my new born son, I came across scrapbooking, which instantly became my new fascination & hobby. Very quickly I turned it into a small business, which allows me to pursue my hobby, earn a small living and remain a stay-at-home mom.I create and make to individual orders, one-off albums for weddings, anniversaries and other significant events in my clients' life.I include in my projects a variety of different styles, depending on the photos I'm working with. I like to try and incorporate new techniques, materials and elements into my designs.  I recently tried Mixed Media techniques, and I like them very much!Unfortunately, I don't often make LOs for my family. I believe that participation in OUA...S Design Team will give me that extra incentive & motivation:) And it's such a wonderful opportunity to express my creativity and passion for scrapbooking.

AND I am very happy to be a part of this gorgeous team!

Stacey Young

Hello!! Hello!!  My name is Stacey Young and I am 31 years old.  I live on the Sunny East Coast of Queensland, Australia.  I married my teenage sweetheart 10 years ago and we have 3 sweet, gorgeous and cheeky little boys (6 &1/2; nearly 5 and 2 & 1/2). I have been scrapbooking for about 9 years now and have always had an arty background, either painting or making collages and jewellery when I was younger.
I got deeper into it when Cooper was born 6 & 1/2 years ago.  Now you could say I am well and truly addicted and can't ever imagine my life without scrapbooking.I would say I have a definite style.  I absolutely adore colour and can go from creating something shabby one minute to creating something fun and cute the next!  But one thing is always certain, my pages are always full to the brim of "stuff" and layering!!!  I adore Mixed Media and just love to make pretty things.  Even having 3 boys, I work my way around it :)
I have been on some amazing design teams and am so grateful to add this one to the list!!!!

Patricia Basson

Greetings from a small town called Secunda in the Mpumalanga province in South Africa! I am Patricia Basson, mother of three adult children, numerous cats, three of my own and two that I foster for my children, two dogs, who think they are furry humans and a very supportive husband in the sense that he never questions the amount of sales a scrapper stumbles upon! I have been scrapping a good 6 years with the last 3 or so really progressing in the paper art. Love being inspired by several on-line idols, of whom many are now on this Team with me! I would also describe my style as a little romantic, little shabby, little chic. Love to layer, stitch on my work, love distressing and adding flowers and embellishments. All in all I just love making pretty pages...Being made part of the OUA...S family is certainly one of the highlights of my year and I am looking forwards to getting to know my fellow Team mates and new scrapper friends during 2014....

One can find me at my Blog: Between the Sheets...

Hi, my name is Olga, I'm a scrapbooker from Russia. I live in Moscow with my husband and 2 lovely sons.
I have been making albums, cards & other projects for over 3 years now. For me it's a way to unwind after a hectic day as I work in the office every day and have real fun with my "papers" after that:)). Now I mainly make LAYOUTS and CARDS as I'm a designer in several DTs. I like different styles - freestyle, American, sometimes shabby, etc. Having said that, most of my projects don't belong to any particular style. I like to try new things (materials or techniques) and use them in my projects.

Ulrika Blomfelt

I´m so very happy and proud to be part of OUA...S during 2014! Just look at the girls who are on the team! Wow! I can´t believe that I´m on this list!My name is Ulrika Blomfelt aka LillBlomman. If I translate LillBlomman into English, it roughly means 'Little Flower'. But it actually comes from my last name and not from me loving flowers:) I was just lucky to find  a man with that last name!I live in the beautiful country of Sweden, close to our capital Stockholm. I have a yellow house near both the woods and the city. Perfect! I live with my husband Anders, son Viggo and a crazy dog called Molle. I started scrapbooking in April 2006 and I love it more and more every day! I´m a versatile girl who wants to do it all. Why choose when you can do everything? So, I make cards, layouts, canvases, art-journals and altered projects. I love learning new things and always try to have an open mind. When it comes to my style I like mixing flowers with a little bit of Mixed Media. Besides Scrapbooking, I love to bake all kinds of sweet things; taking pictures with my camera and spending time with family and friends. I think I´m a kind, positive and quite funny girl and if you have a secret it´s always safe with me!Do you want to know some secrets about me? Of course you do! One of my dreams is to swim with dolphins! Another one is to visit Australia and see koalas. That dream I have had since I was a little girl...

Hi there! My name is Zaneta Glowa aka Zanka. I have lived in Sweden since 2003, but I’m actually Polish. I grew up in the south of Poland and I lived in Krakow for many years before moving over the Baltic Sea and settling here in Sweden for good.My adventure with scrapbooking started in 2010. It didn't take long before it became my big passion and a main consumer of my spare time.I guess I'm a rather typical woman of 'our times', navigating through a combination of family life and a full-time job with a certain amount of commuting... so 'spare time' is something of a luxury product;)  Therefore, I really appreciate those moments in the late evenings when the rest of my family is asleep or busy with something else!

You are warmly welcome to visit my blog at

My name is Aida Domisiewicz aka Ayeeda. I think I've always had an artistic soul - I used to paint ceramics, create my own pots and bowls with clay and make home decorations. Three years ago I discovered scrapbooking and Mixed Media – and it was love at first sight:) I create mostly layouts and 12x12 is my favorite size. Sometimes I make something different though - tags, cards or altered items. I’m not sure I can define my “style”, but my works are recognizable as a bit messy with lots of textures, layers and details. I just love to feel my page under my fingers. I don’t want to close myself in to just one “style” though, as I love to experiment and search for original effects. For me each page is a separate, complete story to tell, so my projects differ with colors, techniques and … emotions. The perfect layout for me is the one that makes people actually FEEL the emotions I try to put into my page.I just love to create, and I am lucky that my passion has also become my full time job. One year ago I started to design papers and produce mediums and other artistic supplies under my own brand '13 arts'. This is a dream come true. Thank you so much Nadia for inviting me to join OUA...S 2014, it is such an honor to be a part of this amazing team.

Elena Olinevich

I have been scrapping for more than 6 years and started as a card maker, but at the present moment I am addicted to layouts with some Mixed Media techniques, and an eye to both details and layering.
I also like to do altered art and OTP projects, using fabric, lace and paints.  I adore using flowers - either fabric or hand made from different materials. What about my style? Well, I like taking grungy and transforming it to look elegant...and being a gentle person, all my creations look feminine and soft.

My name is Stephanie Schütze (39), born in Germany, but now living in Switzerland with my family. Since the birth of my second child I have taken time out from my job as a psychologist in the Usability Field to enjoy the additional time for being more creative. What just began as a hobby has developed into a passion, and a way of being an artist.I am a scrapbooker with a strong touch of Mixed Media and I'm an art journal-er with a passion for drawing. I love to scrap and to create my own backgrounds with Mixed Media techniques, make cards and create all kinds of decorations. As long as color and paper are in play, I'm happy. My newest adventure is to design stamps!I also love to teach classes where I like to share my ideas, to inspire & have fun:)You can find my work on my blog: http://scrapmanufaktur.blogspot.com, also on Flickr, Facebook and Instagram as Scrapmanufaktur and/or Stephanie Schütze.
