September Challenge ****WINNERS****

Well hello there everyone! Thank you ALL so much for playing along with us in September and for the uploads on our Facebook Page! We enjoyed very very much featuring extra layouts there and with just under 90 entries here this month I am so glad we did, because it is virtually impossible to feature everyone. 

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not be disheartened if your layout was not a winner or not featured. The Design Team do their VERY best to vote for the winners... If you have ever been on a Design Team you would know how hard it is to find your faves among 90 entries when they are ALL special in their own way. 

Having said that, we noticed this month and in the last couple of months a decrease in journalling on your layouts. We decided to not do anything about this month, but from next month PLEASE be aware that your layouts need to include some journalling whether it is at the front of your page, on the back or hidden under a photo etc. Acceptable journalling would be more than at least 2-3 sentences long of meaningful journalling and not just generic journalling such as the date or place the picture was take etc. 

We all understand that journalling is quite often difficult to include on the front of a layout. Thats fine! Please go ahead and tell us where on your page it is or even tell us what it says (if you wish to!). 

This is not so much a way for us to have strict rules! Not at all. But when we promote ourselves as a "monthly journalling and sketch challenge blog" it is not fair to those that create layouts with lots of meaningful journalling on them to be overlooked for layouts with no journalling on them at all , albeit gorgeous and stunning layouts. 

SO please remember this when you play along next month as we really do NOT wish to exclude anyone or have to eliminate amazing layouts for this reason. I want to believe our rules are pretty relaxed here at Once Upon A..Sketch and we definitely allow hidden journalling so I hope it is not too difficult for you to include it somewhere on the page!

Hi, I'm  Georgia, I'm 37, from Tasmania Australia where I live with my husband, teenage son and furry cat child, Oscar.

I would describe my style as modern grunge with a real love for art mediums and stamping. I create mostly 12 x 12 layouts and journals with the occasional off the page project and canvas. 

I currently design for Ingvild Bolme, 2Crafty Chipboard, Australian Scrapbooking Memories Magazine, Scrap365 magazine in the UK and Paperhaus magazine as well as running and designing for my own small online scrapbooking storeI am very excited and honored to be back at OUAS as a guest designer.
